Field notes for better communication readiness.
Practical frameworks, operating notes, and field-tested communication patterns from the SabiX team.
The four things you must lock before any high-stakes conversation
Most people walk in with content but no architecture. Before you say a word, four things need to be defined: the audience's real agenda, your single desired outcome, the evidence stack that supports it, and the risk you are willing to expose. Miss one and the room controls you — not the other way around.
Why your best stories fall flat in interviews
STAR method is taught everywhere — so interviewers see it everywhere. The candidates who get offers do not just tell stories, they build evidence cases. Here is how to structure answers that feel like genuine insight rather than a rehearsed recitation, and why specificity beats polish every single time.
The negotiation silence most people are too nervous to hold
After you name a number, the next person to speak loses leverage. That is not theory — it is documented across thousands of salary negotiations. This piece covers the psychology of the pause, how long to hold it, what to do with your body while you wait, and why most people crack at the 7-second mark.
Live coding is 30% code and 70% narration
The engineers who get offers in technical rounds are rarely the fastest typists. They are the ones who make interviewers feel smart by narrating their thinking out loud. This guide covers how to structure a live coding explanation so the interviewer follows your reasoning — not just watches your output.
The 90-second rule for board and executive updates
Executives make up their minds in the first 90 seconds of any update. If your structure does not match their mental model before the data lands, you have already lost the room. This piece breaks down the exact opening structure used by CFOs and VPs who consistently get fast decisions in high-stakes settings.
The communication gap between senior and staff engineer
The difference between L5 and L6 is rarely technical depth — it is almost always communication. Specifically, how you frame decisions, surface trade-offs, and manage up to stakeholders who have context you are not aware of. This is the framework SabiX users have used to bridge that gap in under 90 days.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before you start.
What types of conversations does SabiX cover?
SabiX covers every high-stakes conversation: job interviews, salary negotiations, client meetings, investor pitches, board presentations, and sales calls. The real-time copilot, stealth mode, speaking coach, and readiness analytics are designed to give you an edge in any scenario where preparation and live intelligence matter.
Can the other person see SabiX during a video call or screen share?
No. The web app runs in a separate browser window not captured by standard screen sharing. The desktop app goes further — Stealth Mode uses Picture-in-Picture technology to overlay SabiX entirely outside the screen-captured area, making it invisible to Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and similar platforms.
How does the real-time copilot work during a live session?
SabiX listens through your microphone, transcribes in real time, and surfaces structured suggestions based on what is being said. For interviews it generates STAR-framed answers. For negotiations it flags anchoring moments and silence cues. For meetings it tracks talking points and follow-up risks. The suggestions appear in a panel only you can see.
Can I hear the suggested answers out loud during a live interview?
Yes — Earpiece Mode reads every answer aloud in real time via Deepgram Aura TTS. Enable the speaker button in the Copilot panel after sharing your meeting audio. Six voice options, all professional-grade and human-sounding. You can also run Voice Calibration (via the Share Audio modal) so the AI learns your natural speaking rhythm, sentence length, and vocabulary — making every answer sound like you, not a script.
What is SabiX Autopilot?
SabiX Autopilot is included with every paid plan — one feature that auto-detects and handles whatever is in front of you: exams, coding challenges, MCQs, free-text answers, and chat interviews. You don't pick a mode; it reads what's on your screen and does it. For live coding rounds it listens to your interviewer through the microphone, detects when a coding problem is being asked — above 60% confidence — and generates a complete, well-commented solution automatically. It then types that solution directly into whatever coding platform you are using: HackerRank, LeetCode, CoderPad, Codility, CodeSignal, or any shared editor. The keystrokes go straight into the platform character by character, with variable speed, natural thinking pauses, burst-and-pause rhythm, and realistic typos followed by self-corrections. To the interviewer watching the screen, it looks exactly like you writing the code yourself. You just move your hands over the keyboard to stay in character. Zero manual input, zero copy-paste, nothing to do except look natural.
How do I set up SabiX Autopilot and what do I actually do during the interview?
Install the SabiX desktop app (Windows or macOS) — it is what reads the screen and injects the keystrokes directly into the coding platform, right through your browser. Then open the Autopilot panel in your SabiX dashboard, choose a fallback language for cases where a coding question does not specify one, and click Start before your interview or exam begins. From that point everything is automatic. Autopilot reads what's in front of you — an exam, a coding problem, an MCQ, a free-text prompt, or a chat interview — and handles it. For coding rounds it listens to the interviewer, detects when a problem is being described, generates the solution, and starts typing it directly into your coding platform without you touching the keyboard. You move your hands over the keys to look natural. If the problem is shared as text rather than spoken, use the Manual Override field to paste it — Autopilot handles the rest. (The SabiX browser extension exists for Auto Job Applications; Autopilot's typing arm is the desktop app.)
Can I use SabiX for negotiations and sales calls, not just interviews?
Yes — and that is the point. SabiX is built as a communication operating system for every scenario. The Negotiation War Room gives counter-offer frameworks and silent-moment prompts. The meeting workspace tracks talking points. The board prep module coaches executive presence and data storytelling. One platform, every room.
What makes SabiX different from a generic assistant or notes app?
Generic tools are reactive — you ask, they answer. SabiX is proactive and context-aware during the conversation itself. It knows your profile, your target outcome, your weak areas, and your preparation history. After each session it generates a performance report with specific coaching points. The result is compound skill-building, not a one-off answer generator.
How long does it take to set up SabiX before a session?
Most users are ready in under 3 minutes. You create a persona (your role, the other party, the context), optionally upload a document or paste notes, and start. Returning users with saved personas and profiles are usually ready in under 60 seconds — SabiX remembers your history and preloads your last context.
Is my conversation data private and secure?
Yes. Audio is processed in real time and is never stored on SabiX servers. Session transcripts are stored encrypted and are only accessible to your account. You can delete all session data at any time from your dashboard. SabiX does not sell or share any personal or session data with third parties.
Does SabiX work if English is not my first language?
Yes. SabiX uses Deepgram's speech recognition which handles a wide range of accents and speech patterns reliably. The copilot suggestions are written in plain, professional English and are designed to be adapted to your voice — not to replace it. Many users find it especially useful for structuring thoughts when working across language gaps.
What happens if I hit a limit?
Pro live sessions are unlimited — there is no session cap to hit, and no time cap. The one limit everyone shares is Auto Job Applications: 20 applications a day and 300 a month on every plan, shown live in the Apply panel. If the month runs out, buy an apply pack — a one-time purchase, never a subscription (50 applies — $9 ($0.18 an apply); 100 applies — $16 ($0.16 an apply); 300 applies — $42 ($0.14 an apply); 500 applies — $60 ($0.12 an apply)) — and keep going the same minute.
Can I use SabiX on my phone or tablet?
Yes. Two ways: run SabiX on your computer and keep your phone on speaker beside it — SabiX hears the room through the computer's microphone and answers what it hears. Or use the mobile browser for everything that is not a live session (profiles, practice, reports, applications). The live copilot itself is optimised for the desktop app (Mac and Windows), with stealth mode, Picture-in-Picture overlay, and full keyboard control.
How does SabiX compare to other interview prep tools?
Most interview tools are prep-only — they help you practice before the conversation. SabiX is live-first: it works during the actual conversation, not just before. It also covers far more than interviews — negotiation, sales, board presentations, and client meetings are all first-class scenarios. And because it builds a profile of your performance over time, every session makes the next one faster and sharper.
